Ahhhhh! There are so many good things in here, but the fact that this is so poetically effective in delivering heart break in this amount of words is true testament to your skill. Murdock giving up, Face's heart breaking into shards, how Murdock doesn't reach out for Face, tries to plead to each member, the exhibits line - AH! And when Murdock spits on the ground like that? MY heart broke!

Oh man. I had to read this twice (maybe three times) before I could even have the heart to write a review. So sad, so powerful, so beautifully angsty and wonderful and showing of how hard the decision would be. I'm so so so impressed, chicka! Excellent job! I just want to roll in this entire story and take it away with me forever. <3 SO. GOOD. And so freaking in character I could cry.

Meeeeeep. Your reviews always make me feel so humbled and "aw shucks"y and unworthy. :P Thanks so much for reading and, as always, taking the time to review so thoroughly. :) It's funny, when I started this, I knew what the last chapter would be, but for some reason I didn't realise what a depressing note that would be to end on. Maybe I'll do the fluffiest sequel ever, with everyone in love and eating cotton candy. :P

*purrs!* Funny how that works out, isn't it? And don't worry about the depressing ending. Sometimes I like those better! Can't always have rainbows and sunshine. Besides, I'm an angst monger. This was perfect, and part of what made it so amazing was it ended this way. At least for me.

I would never say no to more of your fluff and crack though, so I'll be sure to watch out for your next writing venture! *camps!*

Haha! I want to write so many reviews like that, often to your stories. It's like, "Oh no! YAY! Awww! Heh heh heh. OH NO!" Not very constructive though.

I need to do a sequel to that fic with Hannibal being weirdly fatherly and forcing the boys to kiss (awkward), which should be fluffy. But then I need to do more Concessions, which will be less so. Been having blockage with that one. Must persist! :D

Ah, thank you! In an Andy Kaufman, "any reaction is a good one" kind of way, I'm glad this chapter was affecting, but it makes me think that the next thing I write is going to be the fluffiest fluff that ever fluffed, just to counteract it. :P Thanks so much for your kind words and for taking the time to review, as always. xoxoxo

oh man. all 5 of them. I love them each in their own way. I've missed your writing on my unplanned hiatus. going through your master list. Oh man. the ultimate betrayal. I can think of very few people who can do murdock with the sensitivity, accuracy and respect he deserves, and you my dear, are at the top of the list. Pure awesome.
