I mean, it was predictable. For years everyone has said they were all going to be dead at the end. Why they went there when that was already the predominate theory, I don't know.
To be fair, everyone said that they were dead from the get go, and that is totally not the case.
Like Christian said, everything that they had gone through for the past six years was real. The only time they were "dead" was during this season's "Sideways AU." Some had died before Jack died on the island, and some had died after Jack on the island. I like how they met up once they had died because that's how much they meant that much to each other. Like in "Titanic", when Rose hooked up with her fellow passengers and Cruise Ship Guy.
Yeah, I mean, it's not like I don't get it. It's just that character death, any way it happens or you look at it, is absolutely, totally, irrevocably #1 on my list entitled, "Things Writers Shouldn't Do to Me". It might be inevitable in real life and fictional life, but I still hate it.
But I'll come to terms with it eventually, and I will buy the DVDs, etc., because Matthew Fox now owns my soul for all eternity, pretty much along with the rest of this damn adorable cast. *sigh*
