So today I went from "most everything to do" to "most everything done" for my Halloween costume. Now to meditate for a few hours to get into the mindset and invoke the otherworldly energies inherent to my costume.

And no, I am not going to sacrifice a goat this Halloween. Geez. Get off my back.

Only six more days until Halloween eve....and damn, but I procrastinate. I have a majority of a costume to finish, I need to do some research (well, c'mon; who really expected me to have read a bible already?), master a role and finish 17 rites and rituals in a third as many days ( Read more... )

Today was a glorious day. When I got to school at 8:00 in the morning, it was overcast, foggy and yet the air wasn't chilly in the sense that I wished I was indoors, just cool. So I there I was last night, at Hacienda Crossings with hours to burn and nothing better to do. I slammed down some cash and went into the 7:40 showing of The Covenant.

It was EVERYTHING I expected it to be!

Well, kinda. The previews and teasers had sort of given me this opinion of it: it's like Laguna Beach or the OC, but with warlocks.

Well, The Covenant, a movie which I've been looking forward to for the better part of a month is opening in about 12 hours. I'm not so insane nor looking forward to it so much that I expect to be in a theater tonight, though I would like to see it sometime in the coming weeks.
