My Gran is ill. This is a simple fact. My 97* year old grandmother has a problem. Now it could be either a urinary infection or maybe a return of the bowel cancer from a few years back. We had very similar problems with my grandmother when she had to go into care. Incidently there are two care home near Andover run by the same people that are excellent. They specialise in people with altzeimer and dementia. My gran went to one of those. I think it is quite popular though we were really lucky that we got a place there.

My heart goes out to anyone in a situation like this. I had the same problem with my Grandfather a few years ago. We were able to work somthing out, where a nurse would cook all his meals and visit twice a day and make sure he was alright until the waiting list at a nice home cleared up and he was able to get in.

It scary that there are little to no options for when an elderly person that lives alone gets sick.

I hope everything works out alright for you and your grandmother.

Sorry you and your family are being treated badly. This government seems to have no sense of Family.

I can't imagine what you are going through. After the age of 12 I no longer had Grandparents.
