Comedy Friday (?) / Temporary Disruption of Service (Part III)
Apologies for the lack of anything over the past two weeks...apparently 'Going Backward to Go Forward', and promising to write more resulted in my having an adverse reaction to a travel innoculation (in advance of our upcoming vacation), and then subsequently falling and smashing my face onto the floor of the doctor's office. A few minutes of unconsciousness, an ambulance trip to the ER, a CT Scan, five stitches to close the cut on the inside of my mouth, and concussion induced retrograde amnesia > one hour, meant that I got to stay home for a week and not do anything to tax my poor injured head. It also left me pretty weak, mentally fuzzy at times, fatigued, and generally irritable.
Back at work now (half-days yesterday and today), returning full-time on Monday, if everything works out. Then I'll get back to the business of trying to put to paper what I said I would. Cheers! And Happy Father's Day!
