Oh. My. God. Your wrist??? Is she insane?? I'm a hard draw too, and I've never even had anyone suggest the wrist. The possibility of disaster is incredible.

Oh my. wow. Hope it feels better soon.

Ok. Like, I've been stuck SEVEN times- in each arm- before they even *considered* going in through my hand. The wrist? Off limits. Seriously. That's not right. You don't even put an I.V. there.

That's some fucked up nonsense, I say.

I mean, seriously, I've even had them consider the tops of my FEET. They never even *suggested* my wrists- despite how fucking hard of a time they were having every where else.

I reallyreally hope you heal quickly. Then report her to someone for the scariness she put you through because that's just not right. Not at all. By any means.

I always suggest my hand now. I have a hugely visible vein in my left hand that sticks out. I would much rather be poked once there than a hundred million in the arm and still not get anything.

I agree--she should be reported. That's dangerous and scary.

My husband is a phleb, and you are nevernevernever supposed to go after the wrist like that.

Ugh. If they try that again, demand someone else.
