Consultations with one's self on such things is paramount to a successful existence.

I'm always fascinated to hear other people's stories of such excursions.

When I need such a thing, i always have some place I've claimed. Usually somewhere simple, like under a specific tree in a park, sitting on a certain fencepost, etc. I just claim a spot I can walk to as my own and can go there when I need to think hard on something.

I don't require many such excursions. One thing that made me realize that I was in the wrong place was that my partner didn't want me making them unless they were the type of excursions he'd make himself.

Two friends have experienced in their lives recently what is termed "a dark night of the soul." Have any of you experienced this in your lives? I discuss this more on my post tonight at peoplepowergranny.blogsport.com. And don't forget to vote in my poll about this.
