Hello el-jay.

If you have a Permanent LJ account and any particular interest in the affairs of how LJ is run, specifically regarding how changes affect you as a permanent account holder, you should join permmembers. And maybe, like, add it to your friendslist and stuff.

That is all.

Out of curiosity, WTF is the point?

Haven't quite spotted it myself, I can admit that.

It actually started as me and kunzite1 making jokes about some sort of uprising, which led to a GJ community, but nobody ever actually checks GJ ever, so he and his friend made an LJ comm that they're now apparently promoting as something to be made legitimate.

I figure it could actually come in handy at some point, at least as long as you have to watch a zillion comms to be kept up on LJ in the first place, but that won't happen unless everyone affected knows it's there.

in addition to what nicole said, it's basically a place for news for permies on LJ. for those permies who don't spend 24 hours a day hovering around LJ.

Pshaw, all these new permies (like new money), asking questions already answered in news or whatever. *sigh*

Yanno... I have never bothered looking into paying for LJ. But since I use it a lot, maybe I should.

So... how have ya been?
