She wasn't even completely sure what had happened since one minute she been watching Katie dancing on the table, and the next she'd been on the floor after seeing some guy on her. One thing was for certain, though - getting cuffed had certainly sobered her up fast enough

Jim wasn't enjoying his chess game with Spock. His Commander had cornered him an hour before, pointing out they were on shore leave and that he should be relaxing. Jim thought maybe there were going to do something fun, but staring at a chess board was far from it. And every time he tried to lose, Spock would school him on proper chess maneuvers

Scotty knew some of the others found him a bit strange. There they were on shore leave, and he was down in Engineering, working on his ship. But Katie had wanted a girl's night with Leandra McCoy, so he had decided to make some adjustments to the engines that he had been wanting to make for weeks and had never had a chance to get around to. To him, this was relaxing.

And tomorrow, he was planning on spending the day with his girl.

He was just pulling himself out from one of the panels on the upper level when Captain Kirk came in. Looking down at him, he raised his eyebrows when he told him that Katie and Leandra had been arrested, so he hurried down the ladder.

"What the bloody hell did they do to get themselves arrested?" he asked as he hurried out of Engineering with him toward the transporter room. He could only imagine what they must have got up to.

Even though Jim was pretty sure he should be more professional about this, he was still laughing as Scotty and him made their way to the transporter room. He was worried about Bones, but he also knew how tough she was and that she could take care of herself.

"Apparently, they got into a fight with the bar's bouncers," he said as they stepped onto the pad. He nodded at the Ensign in front of them and soon they were on the surface of the planet. "And I'm the one people are always telling to behave."

They went to the office of the local jail, where they spoke to the guy in charge. Luckily, he was in a good mood and let them go back to see the girls. When they went to the cell area, Katie was sitting on the bench of the cell, wearing an over sized shirt. She jumped up when she saw them.

"We were framed!" she exclaimed.

Jim laughed and turned his attention to Bones. "Hey, Slugger. Get yourself in trouble?" he asked.

Oh, he was not going to let her live this down for a very long time.

Lea drew her legs up, her arms wrapped around her knees as she rested her forehead against them. She wondered how much longer it was going to be before Jim showed up. Hopefully not too long though she wasn't sure whether being in here or having Jim ride her ass for getting arrested would be worse.

When Katie suddenly jumped up, saying they were framed, she raised her head, looking over to see Jim and Scotty standing there. The minute Jim started laughing, she felt herself blushing as she looked over at him.

"I didn't do anythin'," she told him. "Katie got attacked by some big ox, so I was just tryin' to help her. Next thing we know, we're bein' handcuffed and brought here!"

Getting up, she went over to the forcefield across from Jim.

"You're gonna get us out of here, right?"
