Wonderful! This would be an episode of White Collar that I would keep on my DVR forever.

So glad you're back. I really missed reading your work.

Oh, this is really lovely. Atmospheric and wonderfully insightful. Loved Neal's thought process here, and his thoughts on art vs forgery.

Thank you very much! I'm nothing of an artist, so I'm glad his thoughts came across well.

this is beautiful. the way you've woven your words and phrases is profound, so full of layers and emotions that sneak up on one as truthful to the way they must feel, slash or not. so much unspoken knowledge between them, neither willing to go over the line.

i love that neal has been knocked for a loop here momentarily, and how no one would know it but he and peter. i love the painful truth of neal being a forger rather than an artist, though i think he IS an artist is so many ways, and would be as a painter, as well, if he gave himself leave to do so.

thanks for sharing this.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I absolutely agree with you that Neal could certainly be an artist, in so many ways. There are little glimpses that they feed us that gives me hope for him. :)

Really beautiful. I love all the nuances and layers and exchange of quotes, and the sadly implied censure in the quote that Peter chooses.

It's really interesting that you say that-- I fully intended that quote to be the opposite of censure in tone... though I suppose that in truth it falls somewhere in the middle. Their relationship exists in a very grey area.

Thank you!
