When I first saw this I was a little unsure about it, but it's wonderful and sweet and nostalgic and really makes me miss watching speed skating. I never would have thought about this pairing until now, probably because Apolo has that weird untouchable status that comes with me adoring him since I was 13.

He tells him that his corners are sloppy.

I love that line, it's so nitpicky and snotty but still full of mostly good intentions.

*laughs* I admit to never really watching the winter Olympics before this year... but even so, I always thought Apolo was a jerk. Just some vibe he gave off I guess. But then when I actually watched the 2010 games...

I don't know. He comes across as this strange mix of like, Zen Douchiness. Is that possible? LOL. It compels me. And JR is just so. Freaking. Squishy.

Like Lochte-Back-In-the-Day squishy. ^___^

I must be the only person in the universe who never thought Apolo was a jerk. I swear it's the bandana and the soulpatch or something that must scream "douche" to most people but "totally awesome" to me. That probably doesn't bode well for my taste in men.
JR is adorable and cute as a button, but his hoard of screaming fangirls terrifies me with their flailing and their posting pictures of his giant chest tattoo on Twitter with exclamation points!!!!
