Lollery. That's so cute. I needed a stuffed animal until i was about 12, then somehow the habit just vanished (though i can't sleep without a sufficient amount of pillows surrounding me). I still have both the bears i used stowed away in a locked chair/chest. I had to sew the first one's head back on several times because i kept decapitating it through constant hugging. The second was larger and was in service for a shorter amount of time, though enough that i rubbed most of the softness from it.

At first i thought Watson was going to whine in his sleep about Ben and make Holmes insanely jealous until Watson was forced to come clean about his "dearest Ben".

But this definitely had enough fluffy cuteness to make me feel very cuddly inside.

In fact...i think i might go to the mall tomorrow and see if i can't rekindle the habit. ^-^

Lol this is almost exactly the same as me :) I had this habit of stroking his ears (he was a dog) and they fell off so many times :-S he's on my shelf now and he comes down whenever I need a good cry :) I'm 18 lol :-S

Glad you liked it, hon. I had the same situation as Watson, except I was given one of those little rag doll-type things when I was born. Her head has nearly come off a few times, and she's got little to no stuffing in her neck now. When we moved, I thought I'd lost her... Not a good feeling. That little bit about Bernard was loosely based on me and Lolly (I had no imagination as a kid, okay? XD).

Anyway, glad you liked, darlin', and I'm happy to see I can make you rekindle a habit. As those things go, it's a better one to have than most. ^_^

Watson is already adorable, and this made him too cute for words ^_^ also, LOVE the idea of Watson being all protective of Mrs Hudson because she's the only one (apart from Holmes!) to know his vulnerable side ^_^
Also I am such a sucker for spooning ;P loved this!! xxx

I love how you made Watson needing a bear seem entirely reasonable and not at all ridiculous Thanks! I was hoping that worked. I kinda can't write good crack to save myself, so I didn't want this to be cracky; glad that worked! ^_^
