Author Notes: This is totally my first attempt to write something like this, I'm still figuring things out, I hope you'll like it, this is gonna be chaptered and I already have the whole idea of how this will go, but pls. tell me what you think..

Chapter 1
He can't believe what just happened. He didn't mean to slap Jack, he would never do that, he can't even imagine Jack in pain, let alone be the cause of it. But he was so hurt when he heard Jack accusing him of having an affair, especially with Rian, oh if only Jack knew the truth.
Alex also worries because he knows that Jack should never be trusted behind a car wheel, he knows that he's not a good driver let alone driving with anger in the midst of the night, anything can happen.
When it was already 1:30am and Jack still hasn't come back, Alex's worrying grown to desperation, he called Jack's Mom but she said that Jack didn't come by.
"Why Alex, did something happen? Why are you crying love?" Mommy Barakat asked.
"You don't have to worry Mom, it was just a simple misunderstanding" Alex said more to himself than to the person on the other line.
"If you need anything, you can always ask me for help okay? I can talk sense to that child of mine" Mommy Barakat persisted, she worries too much for Alex more than she does for her own son. She knows Alex have gone through so much and she has a great affection for the boy.
Alex smiled at that, "Thank you Mom, you always make me feel so much better."
"Okay, take care love"
Alex put his phone down and went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, he's sure that Jack's just driving somewhere to clear his mind off things that's bothering him, he knows that Jack will totally realize that he was hard on Alex about the issue and when he gets home Alex will tell him everything.
When he open the fridge and stoop down to see the remains of the chocolate cake Jack had baked for him earlier, Alex smiled he knows Jack love him so much, he will total reassess what happened and will go home soon. Then Alex phone ringed,it only took him just a second to rush to his room and answered the phone,
"Hello?"
"Hey Lex!" Rian said
"Rian? Why are you calling? What do you want?" Alex said with much annoyance and dismay.
"Hey, why are you so irritated? Just wanted to check on you, you know" Rian said smiling.
"Rian call me later okay? I have another call."
"Okay Lex, bye."
Alex then answered the call, expecting it would be Jack.
"Hello"
"Hello, Is this Alexander William Gaskarth?" came the curt the reply.
"Ah, yes. Who is this?" Alex asked quite confused. Who would be calling him in this time of day? And the answer came,
"This is from Maryland General Hospital, do you know someone by the name of Jack Barakat?"
Alex felt like the world collapsed on him, something wrong did happen!
"Yes, what happened? Is he okay?" Alex felt self-hate for not stopping Jack in driving the car.
"He had a car accident. We don't have anyone to call but you."
"Okay, thank you. I'll come over."
Alex called Mommy Barakat immediately and told her what happened. Alex also asked her if she can give him a ride.

"What happened?" Alex asked the police that was there when they arrived.
"Well, apparently he wasn't drunk. But the truck driver said that Mr. Barakat was sort of disoriented, the driver said that he was acting like he can't hear the warning horns and that he wasn't slowing down."
Alex cursed and wanted to hit himself for what happened to Jack. He knows it's his fault, he shouldn't have let Jack drive.

"Doc, what's wrong with my son? It's been three days and his still in coma." asked the worried Mommy Barakat, fixing Jack's hair.
Alex went out to buy food for them.
"You really shouldn't worry Ma'am, everything will be answered as soon as your son wakes up. It's good that he can have full rest."
Mommy Barakat just nods and looked at her son longingly.
When the doctor went out, Alex came in with bags of food, though he's really not in the mood of eating anything at all.
"Alex, you haven't eaten anything decent since we got here. I don't want you to end up being hospitalized too dear."
Alex just sighed and started to eat his share, he don't want to worry Mommy B. even more.
While eating he kept staring at Jack who's in deep slumber. He just hopes that when he wakes up, they could talk about everything that had happened and fix it.
Jack's fingers moved and his eyes gently opened. Alex almost jumped from his chair. Mommy B. called on the doctor.
"Hey baby, you're finally awake." says Alex to the rather confused and eyes still half closed Jack.
He takes in his environment and he seems like his at loss. "Where am I?"
"Baby, you're in the hospital. You had an accident when you stormed out our house after our fight, but we can talk about that some other time.
Do you want to eat?"
Jack just stares at Alex with that baffled look.
"How are you dear? Alex and I have been so worried." Mommy B. asked as she walks in with the doctor.
Jack just became more disoriented, "Who are you people?"
