[The salutation is written larger than the rest of the letter in order to get Gumshoe's attention. The rest is written as normal.]

Detective,I assume that you are well. I need your assistance in the near future if at all possible. My last attempt at corresponding with you didn't go as well as planned, but I have some faith that this note will ( Read more... )

There's at least half a dozen detectives here, Mr. E. You'll need to be more specific.

Yes, well, at the present moment I am only aware of one that would recognize my handwriting.

[A few ink taps. Edgeworth assumed that anonymity is important, but...

Ah, well.]

...Dick Gumshoe. If you happen to know him, I would appreciate your passing along this message.

I'll keep an eye out - I'll let you know if I find him.

Anything I can help with?

Perhaps. If I don't hear from him, it may be best to look to you for help instead.

[A few small, thoughtful dots of ink rest here before he adds an addendum to the note.]

Yeah, I'll carry your purse for you when we go out. Make sure you pack extra concealer, you don't want to run into anything not looking your best.

[See Edgeworth. See Edgeworth turn red. Watch as Edgeworth tears Phoenix's note off the wall and tear it into pieces, leaving behind a simple note with two words left on it. The ink is heavy and the scrawl is not as neat as it usually is.]

Very funny.

You'd be surprised how many might recognize your handwriting there, Little Worthy.

[Oh god, Edgeworth doesn't want to reply to this.

...but it's Edgeworth, so he eventually does.]

I think that I can safely return the sentiment, "Chief".

Oh, I have no need to hide something like that now. A little bird made it difficult to keep a low profile. Nowadays I don't much worry about it.

Hope your stays hasn't been too tumultuous so far. It can take time to adjust.
