Ah. So that's what it was?

I don't know for sure; I can only assume. Did you experience anything of note?

Well, it makes sense.

Don't know if it's anything of note, really! I guess I tended to come to certain conclusions faster than usual. You know, the "everyone is an enemy to avoid at all costs" type of conclusion! Or, in my specific case, the "everyone works for Landel's, so let's torture children into spitting out answers" type of conclusion!

Actually, I'm not even sure that's what happened. He did attack me first...

Are you in the habit of coming to the conclusion that you must torture children for information?

Whatever 2911 was, I do hope it comes back.

What benefits did you experience?

A return to myself.

Do you speak in terms of a return to a previous form, a restoration of your powers, or something else entirely?

I found myself to be uncharacteristically fumble-fingered, although stress cannot be ruled out as a factor. My companion may have run into the same issue as your first respondent. With less dramatic effect.

Fifty-four days would exceed the timeline I have of patient-kept records, but not by an unusual amount. As for the rest, I have no working theory.

Are you typically uncoordinated in stressful situations? How did your companion's behavior change?

I regret to say that I do not know anyone still here who has been a patient that long.

Not in the slightest. Even under...a significantly more stressful situation my fine motor skills were excellent. I simply could not rule it out when the effect appeared isolated.

I've pointed her to this post; she will be better equipped to describe it than I.

I see. There may be other patients who experienced something similar.

Thank you for your assistance, Prosecutor.

I remember hearing IRIS mention that project number, but what's that "altverses" and "54 days" stuff about?

I think something weird happened to me, too.

I have never heard the word "altverses" prior to last night, so I have little idea. As for the number of days, I believe it is a reference to how long this institute has existed. The former was uttered by Landel immediately prior to his removal yesterday; the latter was mentioned by someone on the intercom--presumably Aguilar--last night.

Would you care to describe what happened?

gald_digger March 14 2011, 02:10:20 UTC
Thanks! I didn't get to hear either of those.

It was really weird. All my memories of this place just disappeared, and it was like my first night all over again. And then when I woke up this morning, they were back again.

All of your memories? Any sense of how long you had been here? Did you recognize any of the other patients' faces?

There's lots of worlds out there. Is it too much to think there's other universes too?

I believe I have heard the sentiment expressed before. It is certainly within the realm of possibility. This, then, may not be the Earth so many here think it is.

I would say that's a good start.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I wish I could explain.
