It seems that you have already found an instructor, but it always helps to learn more than one discipline, no? If you're up for it, I think I'd be able to help train you. I may not be a master of a specific martial arts, but I'd probably be dead if I wasn't as good at fighting hand to hand as I am.

I'm not especially skilled in any specific discipline, but I'm rather good at gang street fighting. Plus, I have an especially...bizarre technique that would certainly be useful in training. It lets me fight as if I were two people. You'll have to see it to understand what I mean.
