The other night, I found myself dreaming of a bright hall filled with soldiers, each man bearing a weapon more beautiful and impressive than the one before him. I don't know how I found my way there; I was lost in a storm, certain I'd never find my way through it. It seemed I was lucky. After a bit of cautious chat with one of men, I gained his trust and he gave me his weapon, warning me to prepare for a trial.
At the end of the hallway was a gateway to the lair of a beast. He tried to strike me down, but didn't realize I'd prepared to face him, bringing along a second soldier who could launch an attack while he was distracted. Together, we defeated the beast, and were rewarded with a beautiful relic as a testament to our skill. As it turns out, the relic was also a weapon.
The point in my tale is this: I dreamt of several weapons and violence, and I wonder if this is a sign that I'm somehow reverting to my old ways. I'd hate to lose all the progress I've made during my time here by falling into old habits; however, I've never been very good at interpreting dreams. Is there a chance these dreams mean something more, or are symbolic in some way?
