Is there any reason why a clock would not be on time?

A clock always aspires to be on time. Occasionally, however, their handlers become rather lost. An easy feat in Wonderland.

If the Queen wishes to summon the Hatter once more, might I suggest she hire a guide or invest in some breadcrumbs?

It was an honest mistake.

And you were mistaking a clock for a compass. That was shortsighted of you.

I will try to not be late.
