Waitaminute, free samples? Of candy?

...

Where can I get some?

See me sometime today, or tonight in the kitchen. I'm an older man, with graying hair and a black goatee.

Awesome! I'll see if I can find you sometime.

Oh right! I forgot to sign my name. It's me, Wally West. ;)

Then I think we've spoken before. Find me later, eh?

I'm interested. What sort of chemicals from the second floor are you looking for?

An assortment. I don't usually know what I'll need until I'm already in the middle of formulation, so I can't give an exact list just now.

To return the question, what sort of sweets are you looking for?

I've got some things, although they are not generally known to be good for consumption due to their caustic qualities.

However, if you want some, I will gladly trade... you say you have fruit candies?

I can probably find some use for them regardless; the important thing is to get my toolbox filled back up.

As for the fruit candy... I've got strawberry, banana and apple hard candy right now, and given a night in the kitchen I can add to that assortment pretty much anything you request.

You're making CANDY?

chocomancer March 28 2009, 17:13:21 UTC
Indeed! As of now I've got some hard candy in various fruit flavors and some semisweet chocolate (not up to my usual standards but I work with the materials I can get), but that's no limitation on what I could make if requested.

Oh, WOW.

Can I have some samples? Please?

Absolutely! I'll be putting a plate out at lunchtime; you can pick some up then if you like.

[OOC: Wonka's actually booked for lunch shift, but Impulse can still stop by long enough to get some candy. :)]

I'm sorry, but what is chocolate?

A popular sweet food from my world, made from cacao beans, sugar, and (usually) milk. It can be eaten plain, or used as an ingredient in more elaborate dishes.

If you'd like to try some, I'll have a sample plate out at lunch.

Sounds interesting. I'll have to see if I can stop by.

Where will you be?

At a table, near the west door to the courtyard. Look for a man with graying hair and a black goatee.

Chocolates? For monster parts?
Hey Mister, is this like a videogame?

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. I'm simply interested in studying the flora and fauna of nightshift, and am willing to make custom orders in exchange for samples.

Flora and Fauna? Who's that? Mister, are you using me to pick up chicks?

I don't mind. I'll work lots for food.

Flora and fauna mean varieties of plants and animals. Particularly the animals in this case - I haven't heard of anyone being attacked by a tree, after all.
