Does anyone know about a film series called 'Star Wars'?

More specifically, about the Death Star?

How did the rebels manage to destroy it?

...And what happens after that?

It was destroyed twice, once in the 4th film, and again in the 6th. Luke Skywalker shoots a torpedo into an exhaust which, causes a chain reaction. The second time was by Lando and a group of rebels, destroying it's main reactor after the shield went down.

I only saw the movies, and that's as far as they covered.

Never saw the films, but the Death Star blew up. It's become cliché in my time.

The Jedi won? The name Luke Skywalker comes to mind. Seems like he was the hero. That's most of what I know. Didn't have a lot of time for that shit.

Ed loves Star Wars! ♥ Ed has read some of the books on her computer and seen all the movies.

The seeecret plans for the first Death Star were stolen by the rebels, and that is how they knew where send the missiles. The second Death Star's shield was projected from Endor, and rebels and Ewoks of cuteness blew the generator place sky high. So then the Millennium Falcon flew into the Death Star and blew up the reactor. It was incomplete and easy to fly into; that was a big factor.

The Empire was actually doing really quite well till the rebels blew up the Death Stars and sent their plans to hell. Ed thinks it came down to dumb luck and the struggle of people loyal to freedom. Ed has seen a lot of that sort of thing in old Earth entertainment medium.

And were there infiltrations of the first Death Star?

I don't think the rebels are 'loyal to freedom.'

Hmmm sort of sort of! The Death Star pulled the Millennium Falcon in with a tractor beam, and the crew of that ship had quite a tricky scheme. They hid in compartments and stole Stormtrooper outfits and managed to turn the tractor beam off while rescuing Princess Leia. But poor Obi-Wan died thanks to Darth Vader.

Ed thinks your words are awfully funny. Ed wishes to ask why so much care is put into the queries?

Because I was on the Death Star when it blew up, and I'm trying to find out how the hell they created films about this.

there was a parody of the star wars films called "spaceballs"

it featured "dark helmet" who was an idiot, along with various other foolhardy officers

the entire production was filled with crude humor and comic violence

the good guys won while the last few spaceballs found themselves stranded on a planet full of smart and civilized apes

one of the best films ever

I'm guessing that they're mostly sympathetic to the rebels?
