If there are any other Heroes here, get in touch with me as soon as you can.

Are you fucking serious? Heroes? Capital-H-heroes? Like with dumb spandex costumes with the underwear on the outside and everything?

Oh, man. This place is endlessly hilarious.

Never heard of you, though. Pity. Spoiling "secret identities" sounds like a blast.

Actually, my identity isn't secret anymore. But most people know me better as Statesman.

Unfortunately, he's completely serious.

None of your followers are here, Marcus.

They're not my 'followers', they're my team mates, Recluse. And even if they aren't here, there might be other heroes here.

Trust me (if you can), I would have noticed someone from Primal Earth here by now.

If I trusted you half as far a quarter of the distance a fraction of the distance I could throw you, I'd believe you.

Even if you are right, there might be heroes from other dimensions here.

What does it take to be a Hero with a capital H?

The Heroes I'm talking about are the type that go out with masks and capes and fight crime.

But there are other types of heroes.

How colorful. Are these Heroes beholden to the law? How do they relate with civil authority?

zeus_incarnate September 23 2007, 19:03:24 UTC
Yes. Ever since the Citizen Crime Fighting Act of 1937 it has been perfectly legal for Heroes to fight crime.

I might be of some assistance. Where do I find you?

Statesman? What kind of name is

What for?

If we work together we're even stronger than we are individually.

A team can get a lot more accomplished than a bunch of Heroes working alone.

You have a point, but some of us are used to working alone, and aren't as open about our identities.

I used to work alone too, and I have a friend and team mate who did the 'lone hero' bit. Actually... he still does it.

If you want to keep going alone, that's up to you, but I'm here if you want to talk. Look for the man with the blue stars on his shoulders, or put a message up here.
