This...really wasn't much better, especially given the way that the battle in this hall was proceeding. At least there hadn't been the smell of blood lingering in the air in the hall before. Ugh. And this was why he preferred the Noise: much less mess.

Ah, well...time to make another swift escape.

"See this place is in a fightin' mood tonight," Sanae said under his breath.

"Looks like," he replied. They just weren't having much luck tonight, it seemed. Or maybe they were. For all the fights they'd encountered so far, they'd managed to stay out of them. He could only count that as a good thing.

Still, he didn't let his guard down, and kept a good grip on the shovel as they moved on.
