Was she really the only one out in the hallway right now? Minako certainly couldn't hear anyone else, and she didn't see any flashlights out there in the darkness. Brr. That was kind of... creepy. When it was dark the hallways seemed a lot more echo-y, and she couldn't help but think about the stories about monsters and things that

The emptiness of the hallways served to put Natalia further on edge. All doors had opened; where was everyone? As she walked, though her eyes had adjusted, the darkness seemed blacker. Taking after Himemiya's example from the night before, she had left her flashlight off thus far. However. Dismissing herself as ridiculous, Natalia still took the curious device from her pocket and pushed up the switch.
Nothing after all, nothing as she moved the light over the hallway, focusing on her next move. The corner that opened into an even larger hallway. A few more steps, and she turned left.

Guybrush slowed a little as he passed the ladies' block, peering at the passing female heads for any familiar redheads or pirate hunters. Only a few women seemed to have made it out of the rooms- it was still early. He reasoned he could make it back before either of them left their rooms if he hurried.
He suddenly remembered how Elaine was often two or three steps ahead of him in any given situation- that meant she was probably already finding a new makeshift bandanna and readying herself for the evening. That was enough incentive for him to pick up the pace again as he neared the main hallway.

Just down the hall to the left would be the exit out of the building. Callisto might have questioned why they made the exit so easily accessible, but in the case of the Institute after dark, 'easy' was a relative term. More often than not, There'd be something waiting outside to attack anyone who tried to cross the area. She had no doubt that it only got worse once one got over the walls.

It wasn't until he neared what seemed to be the end of this hall that Izaya finally caught up with those signs of life he'd noticed before. He shut off his flashlight quickly as he approached, but he hadn't missed that the humans milling about here were wearing the same drab uniform that he'd found himself in. They were not, then, staff, unless this hospital's policy was for the caretakers to match the patients. It seemed unlikely; visible differences were important to maintain in a place like this, after all, so that it could be determined at a glance who was in charge.
He passed them quietly, and the hall spilled out into yet another hall.

There were even more humans out in this hallway and not all of them were female, as they had been in the previous location. Rather than staring, Amaterasu kept her eyes locked on the map.
She moved towards the wall on her left and placed her hand upon it. This was to ensure she would not lose her way. Straight ahead was the main hallway. All she had to do was pass through and turn.
Her destination was getting closer with each step she made.
