It seemed no amount of sweet-talking (and he was very good at that, when he chose) could convince the nurse to smuggle the item from wherever they kept the patients' personal possessions and return it to him.
Add that to the fact that he was disoriented from waking up in a different room than the one he'd fallen asleep in, although it was difficult to tell, given that everything was so alike here.
Where was Soubi? Ritsuka? They had been present before, but he couldn't feel anything in this godforsaken place and it was quickly becoming frustrating to try.
The nurse brought him some lukewarm breakfast and he glared at her and ate none of it, since she insisted on standing there, watching him. It was disgusting. Any appetite he had, he lost immediately.
A shower sounded good, at least. And he let himself be escorted down the hallway. If nothing else, he could clean away some of the grime this place left on him. It made him shudder just to think about it.
