If he trusted the intercom words to anything, it was that he would be facing something sooner or later. Hopefully after he got the magician

The Doctor rounded the corner, heading to the right. It was likely still raining outside; although the weather didn't particularly bother him, his interests would be better served to remain inside. If his investigations into the hospital and the forces behind it, took him outside, well... That would be later. He'd remain inside until such time as he needed to go out, for tonight at least.
He continued down the hallway.

Right when he'd thought he was leading the departure from his block of rooms, another man managed to jog right past him and down the hall. Zack raised an eyebrow as he watched. It looked like he wasn't the only one he threw caution to the wind and jogged as a way to get around faster. He was almost tempted to turn it into a competition, but he needed to remain aware of his surroundings if he wanted to have any hope of finding a fellow Gaian.
So, while he kept up the brisk pace, he didn't go chasing after the mystery patient. He could have self-control sometimes!
With all that in mind, he still made it down the hallway in hardly any time, and he moved on without slacking.

McCoy had almost expected to find some obvious sign about these changes the Head Doctor had boasted about. What greeted him were the same hallways and barely a soul out. Hopefully the lack of numbers was due to the night just starting and not something more sinister.
He'd find out sooner or later at any rate. Tightening his grip around the first aid kit, he sped up.

As Guy moved into the hallway, the one other patient who he spotted happened to be one of the men who'd been in the electronics store that afternoon. He was pretty sure, anyway. He'd been distracted, what with Erika's insistence on cornering him, but he'd glanced over the other occupants of that store upon entering it.
He couldn't imagine the older man had the best opinion of him after all that, but it was a moot point, as the guy was already speeding off to meet with his own people.
All Guy needed to do was get some way down the hall, and then he would have no way of missing Luke as the redhead left his room. He really hoped that his friend had gotten tied up speaking to his roommate or something, since it would be frustrating to end up missing him by a matter of seconds. Especially since Guy hadn't formed any back-up plans. That was his own fault, and he was sure he'd figure something out if he had to, but nonetheless, it would just be easier this way.
Turning right, the swordsman continued down the hall...

As Anise passed through the doorway to the northern hall, she noticed another patient rapidly approaching her. The girl was about to duck out of the way and let him pass, but the instant her flashlight shone over the figure, she recognized the man.
The chance was so good it was impossible to pass up.
"Found you, Guy!" was the only warning the swordsman received before Anise jumped at the guy, wrapping her arms around him. She wasn't able to get a tight grip with both of her hands full, but she didn't need to. It didn't matter too much if Guy managed to shake her off, since he hadn't really done anything to deserve being tormented for too long. Still, it just felt like he was way overdue for a hug. Anise had been holding back for a while now!
"Lucky me, bumping into you like this!" the girl cheered, her arms still around the man. Guy probably didn't feel quite as lucky as she did, but she was nice enough to shout a one-second warning for him, which had to count for something. "Where are you going?" Her tone was curious ( ... )

Despite his determination, Obito wasn't entirely sure where he was going. Everyone said that monsters rarely appeared in the patient areas, so he assumed that if he covered enough ground, he might find someone (or someone who could direct him to someone) before everyone had left for their nightly tasks.
In retrospect, he probably should have left a note in his room, but at the moment he didn't care much about worrying Kakashi. It was petty, but he was upset, and even though Kakashi finally got what it meant to be part of a team, the jounin was way too smart to panic or anything.

Sasuke moved along the wall in a way that was familiar to him by now, useless eyes staring ahead, one hand kept close to the wall to note direction. He was silent on bare feet and held no flashlight, focusing instead on the sounds around him to ensure he didn't run into anyone (again, anyway; another silent patient could be an obstacle, as Heat had proved).

Because the set that stopped in front of him had to be Uchiha Obito; Sasuke hadn't given his name out recently enough for anyone else to be addressing him by it in full.
A heartbeat's worth of Sharingan confirmed it, Uchiha chakra flaring into vision like a pillar of fire before everything went dark again.
... this kid was short. How young had Kakashi said he'd been when he'd made jounin, again?
Either way -- "I am," he answered, a brisk low acknowledgment, and then nodded to the hallway beyond them. "Talk as you move if you want to talk now. If you have plans, split off whenever you need to go."
