Obi-Wan saw the wisdom in sticking together, and a part of him was a little relieved Qui-Gon hadn't decided to split up after all. Perhaps they would be ready to travel separately once they'd found stronger weapons and got a better feel for the building's layout. But, tonight, it was probably best to stay close.
It didn't take the pair long to make their way past the spider corpse and towards a door that was apparently locked. Obi-Wan placed the chair down long enough to kneel down by the door's knob and close his eyes. Using the same technique from the other night in the courtyard, it wasn't too difficult to pick the lock, even if it took a little longer than he would have liked.
Obi-Wan pushed the door open and picked up his chair again, glancing to make sure Qui-Gon was behind him. His flashlight's beam fell into the thick darkness of the hallway, illuminating a small path for the Jedi. Once Obi-Wan ventured a little further inside, he noticed the hallway was lined with doors. He wasn't sure if they were locked or not.
Well, he thought to himself with a faint frown, there's only one way to find out.
And he made his way towards the first door to his right. After setting the chair down once more, he turned the knob. Unfortunately, it didn't open, and he promptly knelt down to try and coax it open with his limited Force abilities.
