Night 48: West Wing, North Hall 1-B

The hallway grew a bit colder as Anise neared the northern door. Maybe it would have been a good idea to put a sweater on before setting out, but Anise didn't feel like going all the way back to her room for that. Besides, those baggy things weren't cute at all. Her current uniform wasn't much better, but still! She wasn't going to go around putting on things that made her look even more shapeless.
When she reached the door to the recreational field, Anise paused and listened for any signs of obvious danger, then cracked the door open just enough to peek out. It was dark and quiet out on the field. Was she the first one heading outside tonight?
If no one else was out there to distract monsters, then Anise was going to be the only target walking around out there. She had to be extra careful and try not to get noticed.
