It was kind of funny that they'd ended up coming the same way that he and Cissnei had ventured last night. Zack got the feeling that they'd end up going a different direction from here on out, but that was also because night had ended soon after this for him and the Turk. Hopefully that wouldn't happen again tonight.

There were a few patients around, but Zack didn't recognize any of them. Not too surprising, since he hadn't been here that long and there were a lot of patients altogether.

In any case, this was where his authority when it came to directions ended, and so Zack turned to Aerith with a sheepish grin and a shrug. "Now where?"

Aerith stiffened, probably noticeably when Zack mentioned Cloud. She'd almost come out and said something herself when they'd first met, but she hadn't gotten the chance. Honestly, she didn't know too much about Cloud's relationship with Zack; she hadn't been around really when Cloud had found what he'd been missing. It was a complicated matter on a lot of levels. So much of Cloud had reminded her of Zack. His mannerisms, the way they'd met... But she'd known he wasn't Zack. She might've thought so at first, but Cloud was Cloud. And Zack was Zack. Did it have to be as complicated as she thought it was
