Wilson just found it kind of funny that anyone could see him as dangerous in any way. He knew there were ways to be considered harmful other than just by physical means, but still.
As usual, the conversation starting was going to be left to him. More than that, the patient wouldn't even look him in the face. Wilson suppressed a sigh. "So, are you just upset because you're here or is something else bothering you?" he asked.

No, the doctor was the most prominent thing in his mind right now, natural mistrust showing through. "I'm stuck here and I don't need a doctor," he said finally, voice flat.

"Maybe you don't," he said, glancing back. "But the people in charge think you do, and so here you are." Allelujah could go on blaming him as much as he wanted, but his view was so narrow that it was almost insulting. Why only blame the one face you could see, the one person who was actually willing to sit down and talk to him?
"We can either talk about something - anything - or sit around in pointless silence. I'd really rather not do the latter," he said simply. Wilson knew that there was a time and place to be firm. If it just caused the patient to backpedal even more, then he'd try to reel himself in. But it was worth a try.
