It had been a long day already, it seemed like. Was it this long normally? The doctor couldn't remember - she was so used to being in operating rooms at odd hours. Maybe that had made the time pass faster than it should have

Ah, therapy. Jiraiya was actually looking forward to it, in an odd way. Dr. House was a very interesting man, one that made Jiraiya's brain tick. He also was the type that could very well go "rogue" against the Doctor, if he decided that he didn't like the way he did things. The good doctor would make a useful ally in this place.
His plans changed when his nurse knocked on the door, calling out gently, "Mr. Randy is hear to see you now, Dr. Weaver."
Lockon had every intention of staying with Tieria for fourth shift. He knew that Tieria had to learn to function independently even here, it was true, but in a place like this, he wasn't about to just abandon him, either. He'd need time before he could go through the day here alone--and certainly before he could go through the night alone.
But Lockon didn't get to make that choice. As soon as lunch ended, a nurse was there to usher him away. Unusually for him, he protested, some of his good-naturedness wearing thin--but, of course, it made no difference. He was led to the doctor's office all the same.
Once he was there, though, he was determined not to show this "doctor" a thing about his troubles. That should be easy--he was used to not showing people his troubles.
Still, a flicker of unhappiness darted across his face as the nurse opened the door to inform Dr. Weaver, "Your new patient, Neil, is here to see you."
Lockon still didn't like hearing his real name tossed about so casually.
