Night 46: F31-F40 Hallway

Jan 03, 2010 19:07

After only a few tries with the door, Yuna could open it! Congratulating herself, Yuna peeked out into the hallway. Hmm, too dark. Remembering that light thing from the last time, Yuna went back and grabbed one from under one of the pillows. What a silly place to put something!

Flicking it on, Yuna stepped into the hallway and shone the beam both ( Read more... )

The rest of the day had just gone on after Breakfast. Donna hadn’t spoken to anyone, and no one had approached her either, so nothing exciting had happened really. Just the same old boring place this was.

… and just how much longer was she going to be stuck here?!

For once Donna hadn’t cared for how healthy her meal was and had destroyed the cake in seconds flat. Really, days like this were what made her hate being here. If nothing happened, then there was no point! At least there was something to do at night, even if crazy monsters were trying to eat you! That was more what Donna was used to and, she was almost embarrassed to admit, what she looked forward to as part of her travels with the Doctor. Too many more of these boring days plus how she often ended up sleeping through the night, and Donna would really go insane.

Not tonight. Tonight she would be getting something done! What, she didn't know, but she refused to sit around again. That decided, Donna grabbed her battle gear (or rather, the most fashionable thing out of her ( ... )

Nothing from Manny or Senna all day--talk about a communications breakdown. Meche wondered if she shouldn't go out and try to find them, but the boss had already given out assignments and it was too late to let Soma and their other teammate down now. She was so responsible she was practically shooting herself in the foot here.

Donna had already left, which meant she was running late. Meche opened the closet for her spear and--"Lotería," she breathed in her best Manny impression. Inside was a full set of good clothes, her favorite dress from back at the edge of the world. And they'd even given her the hat and stockings ( ... )

Well, wasn't that a trial, waiting for it to be night? For some reason, she felt like she were waiting for Christmas; anticipation was in the air, the sweet promise of a wonderful present just dangling over her head, and she had to wait through bore after bore just to get it. But it was night now, and all that stressful waiting and wanting had paid off for this one, glorious moment.

She could practically hear Iris hovering over her shoulder, cooking a mini cheese omelet on an invisible stove. "You aren't going to hurt anyone, are you, Dahlia...?" Of course she was going to hurt someone. Someone needed to get the hell out her way.

She didn't give any parting words to Bella. Now that she thought about it, she didn't give any greeting words, either. Ah well. It couldn't do any more harm than "Linda's" sob story could.

Bag over her shoulders and spice bottle tucked away quietly in its pink hold, Dahlia walked off into the hallways with a mission. Time to get her toys.
