[from here]It looked like Junpei was the first to arrive as there was no sign of a hot pink-haired flesh-eating babe. Leaning against the wall by the door that lead outside, he sighed and tilted his head back. What was he doing? Why were his senpai gone when he so very much needed them to tell him what he should really be doing

Junpei was here in this hall, with some pink-haired woman. Okita managed to catch a few snippets of their conversation, but otherwise left them alone. His student would be tested later again, when Okita had leave from group activities, and until then he had to trust the boy's inherent skill would carry him through. And that he was practicing his swings. If he found out the boy had been shirking on those, then their next training session wouldn't be so kind as the first.
But now wasn't the time to be playing teacher. He had to get down to the main hall and then slide over to the female block undetected.

Awww man, there were people in this hallway. Wally knew his luck wasn't going to hold out the whole way!
...maybe they wouldn't notice him...
...in his bright red and yellow outfit...
...as he tried to sneak past them...
Yeah, that wasn't going to work. Maybe if he'd taken a few seconds to think about it first, he might have realised before now that it would have been better to take his costume and get changed closer to his destination, rather than risking everyone and their mutant zombie dog seeing him. Hindsight really was 20/20, he supposed.

The halls were getting crowded, but people were still about, so that meant it wasn't too late in the night just yet. Hopefully Alita-hime wouldn't fret over them. It was just around the corner after all. She waved for the others to follow and continued on.

Tucking the bat close to his side, he moved a bit closer to Ritsu, wanting to be supportive.

Once again, Joshua found himself wandering down the hallways of the Institute. This time he had someone in tow, sure, but it was still the same. What worried him was that there was always the possibility of being attacked, but so far, he hadn't managed anything like that. It was almost a shame, he wanted to see how he fared against them... but on the other hand, the more he could hold back, the more he could release later. So far, he was an unknown quantity, and that was always a good thing.
Speaking of unknown quantities... as he walked along, he turned to Leonard and asked, "Do you have any notes about monsters you might have faced, by the way?"

He paused in both speech and step as he turned to a page stuck in front of the others, placed there purposely so he'd see it before all others. With the page was a strange photograph- the figure it in looked like something straight out of a Romero film, except with a really, really good makeup job. He held the picture under the light, examining it closer. He turned it to the back:
I KNOW YOU THINK YOU'RE CRAZY, BUT YOU'RE NOT. TRUST YOURSELF. THEY'RE CONVINCED YOU'RE INSANE, AND THAT YOU BELONG HERE. YOU DO NOT.
"Monsters," he said quietly, internally debating whether he should trust the picture, trust his own handwriting, or trust his instincts. It's impossible. This is my writing- you learn to trust your own writing more than anything, but... He flipped the picture over again ( ... )

As he walked along, he called out, "You know, I'd be surprised if you hadn't. It seems to be a well-accepted fact, the existence of flesh-eating creatures... well, flesh-eating creatures besides other humans, of course."
((And then he walks on to here!))

It was a pain to move about in the dark without a torch. Usually he switched it on and off, trying not to waste batteries, but to not have it at all made quite a difference. He kept to the wall and listened out for trouble.
