[from here] So far, so good; Junpei wasn't feeling any compulsion to go someplace he wasn't intending to. It was a relief to know that Evangeline wasn't going to vampire him to her side that night, despite the implications from earlier. Then again... what if where he was heading was where she wanted him to go all along, so it just didn't feel

Kagura rounded the corner without incident. She gave a quiet sigh of relief when she saw the door to the dormitories just a bit further ahead. Shinji breathed a soft sigh of relief as he stepped out into one of the main hallways. It felt a bit less claustrophobic out here. A bit less like the walls were going to close in on him and swallow him up. He glanced up and down the hallway for a moment, trying to decide where to go. S.T. was out of the cul-de-sac and onto the main drag. Left or right. The great outdoors or seeing if his luck would cover an all-nighter spent squinting into a microscope. The kind of heartburn-inducing bullshit he'd quit his day job over.
Not that it was much of a decision. At least volunteers got to set their own hours, and no-one gave a shit if he skipped the button-down.

He didn't hear or see too many other people out and about yet. Mello wondered if there had been anything to that (staged, surely) bullshit over the intercom a little while ago. He was coming to hate the people who ran this place with a special kind of hate, but he couldn't deny that they had power. He'd make sure the day came, and soon, when they wouldn't have it anymore. He grinned in the dark as he made his way toward the main hallway.

Cloud moved quickly, eyes darting to either side as he looked for any potential attackers. It wouldn't do to get delayed before he even arrived in the hall over.
