"If we just head towards the left, we should find it without too much trouble, hopefully?" Haru suggested, stepping in behind him and letting the door close behind them, taking a moment to let his own eyes adjust. "We'll just be quick about it, yeah?"

Hughes nodded and started down the hall. It was the only option they had at the moment, but as soon as they could turn....

"Yeah, we'll be as quick as we can." And he was hurrying, even as he listened and cast his eyes around the hall, fearing the worst.

Haru kept pace with him, moving back the way they'd come not so long ago, alert for any movement at the other end of the hall as he carefully kept their flashlight pointed ahead of them. "One thing I know. I'm tired of this place playing with us like it is. With rules only they know. And randomly changing the game board. Hell if I know how to set the score more even at the moment, though."
