[[Coming from
here.]]The unexpected radio announcement made Yazoo jump, and he glared down at the radio held in his hand. The announcer’s words made no sense to him as he listened to the broadcast with a raised eyebrow. And here he thought the Head Doctor was weird. Of course, he doubted whether any of the people behind this place were sane.

Aidou couldn't help it - he really couldn't. He was in a bad enough mood, and the timing was so perfect...
The radio announcement provided an excellent distraction as he moved through the dark in the creepy soundless way only vampires seemed capable of, coming to a stop in the main hallway that had angered him so royally only that afternoon. Examining the silver-haired man's back (just out of striking range), he murmured, "Looking for something?"

He turned slightly and looked over his shoulder, seeing that it was indeed someone he didn’t know. However, that fact didn’t matter. All Yazoo knew was that the boy had asked him a question, so he had better answer. With a smirk, he turned around to fully face the boy, and said, “Yeah, I was hoping to find your head on a stick, but I see it’s still intact.” He laughed then, and added, “What a pity.”

He blinked, watchful, not even bothering to heed the jab. After a moment of consideration - information was information, after all - he said, "We've never met, so I can only assume that idiocy comes from some personality defect of yours." He smiled, then, openly. "Name?"

“You see, you’ll have to forgive me for my so-called ‘personality flaw.’ It’s a nasty little side effect of stupidity that you seem to have infected this hallway with.” He loosened his stance a little and tilted his head, regarded Aidou with a cool gaze. “So the only idiocy around here is your own, and I’m afraid there’s no cure.”
With a laugh, Yazoo crossed his arms loosely over his chest. “I’d ask you the same question, but quite frankly, I can’t find it in myself to care what your name is. As for mine, it’s Yazoo,” he answered with a smirk.

Well well, there was a familiar face! Xigbar would have recognized those curves eyes anywhere, and if he had been in a better mood, he might have bothered Yazoo thoroughly, whether the guy wanted to be bothered or not. But, as it was...
...blech. Xiggy just leaned against the wall, deciding to slack off a little before he continued on his way. Without a shirt the walls were pretty cool against his scarred torso, but he didn't much care either way about that. Besides, he still had his pokeball handy; with that he should be in good shape no matter what he encountered. So why worry about anything?

So far, so good. Edgeworth hadn't intentionally done it, but realized as he approached the door that he had been holding his breath all the way down the previous hallway. As he entered the connecting corridor, he let it out slowly, and then spoke, again in a quiet whisper.
"I'll be making a right here. There's a door several feet down that leads to the other male block. If you go a bit further, there's a stairwell at the end of this hallway that leads up to the second floor. Going left at the end of the hall will lead you out to a larger corridor. The Sun Room will be down that way and to the left."
He was relieved that so far, nothing had attacked them, and hoped it would remain that way.

Then he was off down the hallway.

He took his time, walking. There wasn't a reason to run, yet. Though there did sound like a bit of a ruckus starting up behind him, so he definitely wanted to get away from that.

Gin saw a light up ahead, though friend or foe, he couldn't be sure. He walked as quietly as he could down the hallway, trying to catch sight of the one behind the light. They had to have seen the light his flashlight by now anyway.

He shone his light on the wall near the guy, so he could get a better look without blinding him. Since that was pretty rude.
While not as cute as Edgeworth, Jack thought this guy wasn't so bad, either. He grinned. "Hi there," he said. It never hurt to be friendly.

"Evenin'," he said as he walked closer, lowering his light to the floor. "Off explorin'? I hear it's dangerous t'go alone."

Haku slid quietly past a doorway and took care to keep his light off. Some of the other patients were making enough noise cover his own, and some of the other's flashlights provided more than enough light for his trained senses.
However, he had to pause here to get his bearings. If the rooms were numbered like so... He closed his eyes to picture his mental maps. There should be a couple more doors now... and just that last little bit of hallway.
