[From here.]While trying not to go too fast, Sync briskly led the two down the hallway, stealing a quick glance over at the male block's other hallway for any sign of Claude or Guy

Ah, weren't these two just so cute? It was like they did this yesterday!
Oh wait. They did do this yesterday. It was almost an exact replica of last night and by god if she wasn't annoyed already. Well, whatever. They better make it to the basement without another fight or she was going to be very unhappy with her little friends here.
She followed Sy's lead and pushed herself against the wall, trying to poke her head through the doorway along with the boy. Nothing there yet, but they thought that last time. Hm. Maybe this time, Sync would be the one to bite it. Wouldn't that be charming? It'd mean she wouldn't have to do it herself.
Normally, Anise would have taken the initiative and checked the Sun Room herself to see if there was trouble ahead, but this time she lingered at the rear of the group. She knew Sync wouldn't tolerate her slowing them down in any way that was too direct or obvious, but she still wasn't going to go out of her way to help him accomplish his goals. Especially not when those were goals that potentially involved her and Dahlia's deaths. She really wasn't in a rush for that.
Maybe if she dragged her heels enough, Guy would catch up before it came to anything like that. Anise's feelings kept flip-flopping between wishing he came soon, and wishing he didn't come at all. She wanted to get rescued, of course, but she didn't want any would-be rescuers winding up in trouble too...
When it seemed everyone was ready, Anise moved along with the group into the room ahead.
The Bride had traveled the path to this location so many times, she could do it blindfolded. As she reached the Sun Room doors, she leaned back against the wall next to them.
Now, to wait. Hopefully, SubZero and HK-47 would show before the snake made her appearance. Beatrix was near certain the bitch was going to come for them.
HK made sure that he was on time tonight. As much as the dire threat he'd received and all of the things that had made him want to self-terminate rather made him feel like wandering off by himself to go kill something with someone who hadn't made him feel lost and depressed today, he was still on time.
"Query: Well?" He didn't feel like saying even 'Greeting: Hello meatbag who I am increasingly beginning to dislike!'
The Bride's eyes flickered over to HK-47 as he arrived. It was odd for him to show up before SubZero, but perhaps her words earlier had made an impression. Still...
"Thank you," she replied, though she had no intention of telling the droid what she was thanking him for. "Nice axe."
"Reply: You're welcome." He wasn't going to ask what for. "Statement: It is very efficient for removing heads from their bodies." He supposed that zombies and humans were much the same in how their heads came off. It had certainly felt that way, but he hadn't yet gotten the chance to compare with this particular weapon.
Harvey had reached the same spot where he and Jason had met up last night, and judging from the lack of people around, he got the feeling that it was in pretty good time. He didn't think it was too likely that Jason was ahead of him, so now it was just a matter of making sure that the kid and his "delivery" weren't on his heels.
He resisted the urge to glance over his shoulder. Chances were he was in the clear, so he just needed to keep going. Jason would have to take the time to meet Batman and then head this way without making it seem like he was in a rush, so that was bound to take up time.
It wasn't too much further, and so Harvey forged on, ignoring the fact that there already seemed to be some kind of commotion in the Sun Room.
((From here.))Claude moved briskly, leading the way into the next hall. The weight of the sword in his hand felt empowering in a comforting way. Last week's beating from Sync had been the result of the replica having the upper hand, but tonight there were three of them and one of him. Things had definitely changed since then. Granted, Claude was aware that Sync probably had some advantage by virtue of all this being on his terms. He had to have told him about his basement escapades knowing that he and Guy were coming to come looking for him, after all
( ... )
It was hard to know what Dias had meant when he'd asked after them. It could have been a benign question, but Guy wouldn't have been surprised if it carried more weight than that. He personally hadn't told Dias about their infections, but it was possible Claude had, and Guy didn't particularly mind that. Seeing how they were working together, it made sense for the man to know about it
( ... )
Three people...hm. Guy and Claude had told him about Sync - warned him was more accurate - and he'd known they were pursuing him tonight, although he wasn't entirely sure what Claude had meant for them to do when they 'confronted' him. They hadn't mentioned he'd have companions...though he was, at least, able to pick Sync out from the other two. He didn't know who the other two were, but he could at least tell the difference between male and female physique, even by silhouette.
"What are you planning on doing when we catch them?" he asked, somewhat dubiously. He hadn't seen much, but from the silhouette, Sync looked...young. While Sync had been described as small, and according to Claude was anything but innocent, the boy simply couldn't be over twenty with that physique(or, at least, not over twenty without something seriously wrong with him, and if he'd been able to take Guy, Dias doubted that). He wasn't sure he could kill a child, no matter how evil they might be...and, of the three of them, he couldn't imagine Guy or Claude

Soubi kept and eye out for Kio, even though he didn't think the guy deserved it. But, really, what kind of attitude was that? Someone looks out for you, so what do you do? Fool around at night when you know full well it's dangerous. And what for? Lo- wait. He could have fetch Soubi some cigarettes. UNGRATEFUL IDIOT. Soubi bit at his nail but the flesh tore and it hurt. So he kicked a wall instead and hurried along.
Soubi was starting to think about the brownie in his bag. Ritsuka didn't really go for that kind of thing, right? Soubi could probably eat it. But then, no. He saved it because Ritsuka wasn't eating anything. Soubi had to try. And then he'd have it if all else failed. Want not, waste not.
