Ugh, she was really gonna have to figure out a good way to strap the shuriken to her back. Keeping it constantly in hand was kind of reassuring, but it was also hella impractical. Practicality came before comfort, especially in a place like this. A whole bunch of her techniques had the shuriken starting out on her back; if that wasn't

Quiet here too. Indy wondered briefly if the events of the last few nights had scared anyone off--but then, it was still early yet. Plenty of time for the patients (and the lab rats) to come out to play.
He pressed on.

Again, deserted. Tenzen supposed most patients were still in their respective rooms, thus he could only conclude that he must be early tonight, unless the last night's events described upon the bulletin board had scared the majority off.
Be as it may, the lack of other patients was hardly considered to be a problem. At least this way, he would not run into any delay.

Checking his map again, Lockdown knew he was almost to the stairs that led to the second floor. Hopefully he wouldn't get distracted this time around. Still, at least he'd gotten some raw materials that could be made into a weapon. Which reminded him: now that the boards were actually being watched, he'd have to find a way to contact one of the weaponsmiths without being suspicious.

Well, this was certainly getting less and less reassuring as he went along, more so when he considered where he was going and what for. There was very little to look forward to tonight, but he was determined to make the most of this. He had fallen far too behind in his investigation as it stood, and he couldn't afford any more delays.
Klavier took a deep breath and tried to clear his mind of whatever paranoia was riddling his thoughts; far easier said than done. The way to the meeting area wasn't the least bit complicated, but he needed to remain focused and alert while out here. Stupid distractions would only cost him.

The boy was wracked with guilt all over. Those 'special counseling' sessions must have been the experiments that he read about! And his roommate got picked tonight! Why didn't he do anything about it?! Just because that white-haired kid had some issues didn't mean that it was alright to let him be preyed on by... whoever runs these experiments!
The sooner he met the Search and Rescue team leader, the better.
