Instead of another hallway like he was expecting, Rolo was surprised to find a cool breeze flowing in as soon as he opened the door, gazing out into the darkness that blanketed what looked like to be a field of sorts. The beam of his flashlight didn't go very far, and all Rolo could tell was that this looked vaguely familiar - perhaps the same field his nurse lead him out to when he first woke up here.
For some reason, he was almost... disgusted with how easy it was for him to find his way outside. If he really was supposed to be undergoing some sort of trial, then whomever was conducting it was either far too arrogant or was intentionally trying to bait them. Then again, Rolo shrugged and knew it couldn't be so easy. After all, the Geass Directorate was situated in a desert that stretched for thousands of miles, each way. Perhaps this place had the same set-up, where going outside was merely one obstacle to escape.
But escape wasn't his priority, and Rolo promptly turned around, intending to go back in and continue surveying the rest of the area.
