Breaking down the bed frame after she'd eaten some of her meal had given Teresa something to do while she waited for the night time phenomena to arrive. Having not been conscious when it occurred the previous night, she was curious. She was not disappointed. The overhead words were certainly something different

The pain that flared in her arm and began to grow again barely registered in her mind as she surveyed her new acquisitions. Her hand hesitated over the gun before moving to the spear instead; it was unlikely she would be going anywhere tonight, even if the others were.
She went through her equipment check with an almost routine speed, but it was clear her heart wasn't in it. It was stupid to go out distracted like this, and she knew it, but she couldn't find it in herself to care. There was nobody to hold her back now.

Gintoki. Shinpachi. Edo. They were the ones that were real. This wasn't. She didn't know how her brother got here but it was clear that he was just messing with her. He won't win.
But what if your brother's right?
Then she'll make him wrong. She didn't know how but this was what Kagura decided as she left her room, making sure not to disturb her sleeping room mate.

Of all the rooms, why did she have to bee in F3 too? It was like some stupid curse, or something! All the girls he had to deal with... Sakura, Orihime, Shiki... and now this Chise girl had all been in this one room! He'd never known Ururu to be in it, but there had been that night he'd found her and Fai all but collapsed outside of it.
Because of that, Kurogane didn't have very high hopes when he got up to the door and flung it open. "Hey...!" was all he got out before he grit his teeth and let the door slam back into position. No one. He'd been stupid to think that girl would wait. But it was stupider to think that she had just gone off on her own. With how she'd been asking for help...
He turned back immediately, swearing as he stormed back towards the main hall.

Bridget hugged Roger close as he carefully walked through the dark hallways. He was being extra careful and it made him a bit slower than usual, but he wanted to get to Kagura's room in one piece. Finally coming to F10, he hesitantly reached up and knocked.
"Miss Sohma?"

Luckily, she didn't think on it long. There was a knock at the door and a familiar voice. Kagura was quick to jump to her feet and answer, greeting both Roger and Bridget with a smile as she opened the door to let them in.
"I'm here. Sorry! Come in, please!"

The strangeness of polite conversation in light of what was going on had long since ceased to bother Bridget. There was no reason to not be polite, even here.

She didn't know why she felt nervous. It wasn't like she hadn't spent several nights with Bridget already. This was different, in a way, but she had to do what she could to keep Bridget's spirits up. So long as he was able to smile, that was what mattered.

Once Tenpou rounded the corner, he saw a line of rooms. It was similar to the area where his entire trip had begun, only this time, the feeling that had guided him intensified. Something was going to happen. Something important, vital to his time here. He could just tell somehow, although he couldn't explain it, not even to himself, if he tried. His thoughts were no longer on missing Kenren, or why he couldn't. On figuring out who Homura was or where to find him. He had been brought to this area for a reason, and now, he would solve the mystery.
Flashlight poised to attack in the event that what had guided him here turned out to be negative, Tenpou strode forward, not sure which door he was supposed to be going toward or what he would find there. Just that he would know it when he did.
[Waiting for Kenren, although anyone involved in the History Club in or around F8 can join in before or after he shows up.]

He was looking for Hanatarou which was why the figure in the corridor took him so by surprise. A familiar form that made Kenren's thoughts lurch, the feeling of something snapping back into place when it had become so familiar for it not to be there at all. "Hakkai?" he asked, staring at the figure, deja-vu from his first night in the Institute hitting him suddenly. But this time the hair was too long, the stance just that bit too hunched.
No, not Hakkai. "Tenpou..."

Tenpou's head turned in the direction where he had heard the voice, then his entire body pivoted, holding the flashlight to illuminate his face. He looked like hell, his chakra missing, scars on his cheek, one eye discolored...but there was no doubt about it.
"Kenren..." Tenpou gasped softly.

He felt hurt and joy and black rage warring in his chest as he looked at his friend with dual vision, seeing him and Hakkai both and then with a cry of rage he leapt forward, fist aimed at his face; rage at him for dying, for being there, for doing something unfathomably self-destructive again until he could barely remember who he was supposed to be, god or youkai, general or taboo.
