[wandering in from Main Street - o hai Dean]Though the monsters from the closet had yet to make an appearance, there was an encounter of another kind entirely in store for the man on the bus

The odor of alcohol was almost overwhelming to her senses, especially in such close quarters, and a flicker of momentary disgust passed over Makiko's features. What had the man done, bathed in beer at the first chance he got?
Still, though, despite the reek and his behavior, she was fairly certain he wasn't as intoxicated as he wanted everyone to think. The question in her mind was why, exactly, he'd chosen to put on such a charade, if charade indeed it was. Unfortunate that she'd been...otherwise occupied during the scuffle that had led to his exile, else she might have observations to accompany what she already knew.
She paused a short distance from him, maintaining a decent boundary of personal space; the slight quirk of one brow was all the response he got to his inebriated leer. "I happened to be passing by," Makiko replied. "The nurse thought perhaps a word with your doctor could do you some good. We are here to help you get better, Mr. Derringer

Dean slouched back in the seat. "Could start with gettin' me another beer, Dr. Phil," he said, and he didn't even bother faking the belligerence in his voice this time around. He hadn't even mentioned "Doctor" Kisugi to Sam yet, mostly 'cause he didn't actually know that much about her and partially 'cause if he told him, he was pretty sure he'd try to hunt her himself. Dean was all for staking the bitch (or whatever they needed to do once they found out what kinda monster she was. "Human flesh-eater" was actually a pretty big category there), but he wanted to do it together. Especially against something that might have had a hand in nabbing Sam and plunking him down in Landels. Sam. Sam made things complicated. He'd thought things were easy after selling his soul, coming back to that crap shack and seeing his brother alive again. Maybe he'd been high off the relief
