Nightshift 41: Mail Room

Clanking and rumbling like a party of defunct automatons, Sho and his train of junk on wheels entered the room none to quietly. He recalled seeing a couple cabinets that might be good, but his eyes lit up when he saw another prize: the computer.

Where most patients would have tried to boot it up, Sho instead immediately ripped its powers cords from their sockets and threw monitor, tower and printer all onto the stack of metal sheets secured on the cart he'd taken from the Laundry Room. Working on the streets of Shibuya, he rarely got a chance to work with expensive electronics like this, usually crafting his work from traffic lights and soda machines.

As it was, using such materials was no longer an option, both on account of supply (quantity:0) and logistics (weight > lifting strength). So he'd just have to work on a smaller scale with what he had.

Securing the computer and its accompanying parts on, he considered the paper-cutter. It wasn't actually that sharp per se, as it cut by force of the metal against metal rather than either part being sharp, but it was thin enough and sturdy enough to make a better weapon than a flashlight or metal pipe, something Sho was aware he needed now that he was straddled with RG restrictions on his powers. A bit of prying and smashing later, and he'd taken the arm off the paper cutter and stuck secured into his jacket with some duct tape, fresh from the new roll. Throwing the base of the cutter on with the computer, he prepared to head out, pushing his growing train of garbage.
