Few footsteps, fewer voices. Without having to wait on the more visually deprived, Scourge could make a quick in-and-out of the operation and be safe in his room by midnight. Someone passed by him in the darkness and Scourge held his breath for a bare moment, but the human didn't acknowledge his presence.
Good.

The halls marked the passage of a few people, but not a whole lot. It seemed like somewhere along the way, he’d gotten a head start on things. Sure, Chidori probably wasn't going to think it was as awesome of an idea as Junpei did, but he was pretty sure she'd humor him. Maybe she'd find his actions really cute or something. Chidori was allowed to think that Junpei jumping on a totally awesome weapon idea was cute.
But only her.

Now he was back to imagining a monster devouring Adachi and making his life easier. He hoped they weren't shadows, in that case. Shadows seemed to be fond of the guy, go figure. It needed to be something mean and nasty with a mouth big enough to swallow him whole.
Of course knowing his luck he'd probably run into it first.
