As he got closer to the room, Teisel couldn't help but worry a little about the possibility of running into Van. Or rather, Van was probably worried about the possibility of running into him.

Yeah, that made more sense.

Xigbar didn't feel any particular remorse as he strode through the hallways with singular purpose. He was going to be attacking a kid, someone who'd done his level best to be friendly, and in that attack Xigbar was going to be doing his level best to snuff out that life. Just to prove a point, just to show that he was the better dude. Yeah, that was about as bad as things got; Xigbar remembered enough philosophy to know that he was doing some dark, dark stuff here.

But even as the water rose, Xigbar knew the course. He was going to be doing this, and there was nothing anyone could do to stop him. That knowledge, that firm belief that he'd win this, made the Nobody hum to himself as he walked along. Almost there...

It had to be pretty convenient having a room number that ended with zero. Since it was right near the corner, Anise could see the doorway to M60 from the block's main hall. It looked like a few people were making their way inside. Good! Anise wasn't going to have to fumble around with the door while her hands were full.

Yes, this looked like it was right. Wolfram poked his head down the first couple of hallways, noting that the numbers were too high. But then the M60 seemed to be right on the end of the third row of rooms. Apparently this would be easier than he thought. Hopefully he could grab his sword and he'd be on his way.

So, four halls of ten rooms to a block, running from lowest to highest from west to east and north to south. Which meant the room she wanted was...

Second door, first hall. Daphne jagged right as soon as she came through the door leading into the M-B block, trying to ignore the rapid, uneasy rhythm of her heartbeat. She'd made it there all right, but she was starting to remember all the reasons this might be a bad idea. Starting with the last time she'd gone to find someone she'd never actually met in a secured, prison-like facility. If this was a trap, she was going to feel very, very stupid.

The light was off, and Albedo kept to his habit of keeping to the shadows. There was enough of them to go around to be sure. Unlike a certain twin.

Suspicion dwarfed him--not of Rubedo in that moment, but Nigredo. The baby wasn't tagging along tonight, so where was Nigredo? What was the boy planning?--Because Albedo couldn't for a moment believe that the youngest was not plotting to shift this to his advantage. It didn't occur to Albedo that Nigredo was not a villain in this story. That Nigredo did not think like him.
