He ducked inside, glad the night was still young enough that the nasties weren't prowling around just yet. They seemed to like waiting until a body had stayed in one place just long enough. Then again, the attacks were often random, so there was really no telling where one might run into something. It was probably a good idea to check on Ururu and Ken after he dropped in on Kurogane, now that he thought about it.
It also just occurred to her that until she reached Spider's room, she was completely and utterly unarmed. WHY did this have to hit her now? She could take care of herself against people, but bugs the size of sofas were something else.
Luckily, she was almost there. It should be this door to her immediate left. That would lead to the room halls. Or it should. Otherwise, she'd screwed up.
"If you refuse me, honey, you'll lose me and you'll be left alooone. Oh baby, telephoooone and tell me I'm your ooooooown~" This was accompanied with a small spin, a wide armed gesture, and the painful knowledge of how mind-boggling bored he had to be at the moment.
One more hallway. One more hallway. One more hallway.
Why was it that no one was ever just right next to him? There were so many people in this block, and yet the ones Matt always had to meet with were never there. At least he could be grateful that he wasn't in the far block anymore. One hall down wasn't so bad.
