Anti-riot buildings were so annoying; it took forever to get anywhere. Such a shame he was missing his equipment and couldn't just make a few handy new doorways.
The hallways were quiet, peaceful. The perfect sign he'd begun the nightly rounds fairly early. Here was the hope Ken could reach the female dorms with time to spare.
Taking care to keep the spear level, he made his way out and into the main hallways.
Had Lugnut also been moved to another room, Blitzwing belatedly wondered. If so, that might make meeting up with him a little difficult, especially since Blitzwing hadn't left any instructions on the bulletin board. He hadn't thought it was necessary; they'd only be repeating the same thing they'd done last night and the night before, only this time they'd be SUCCESSFUL.
The room change didn't really change anything, he decided, quickly striding forward. Lugnut would no doubt assume they were to meet in the main hallway, just as usual. After all, if there was one thing Blitzwing knew intimately well from their long association, it was that his wingmate was a great deal smarter than he looked.
The floor of the hallway was rolling gently, like the deck of a boat at anchor, buoyed up on lazy waves. With some sun and some beer it'd be nice. If he were really on a fucking boat, which he knew damn well he wasn't. Shit. Nothing to do about it but keep going.
Scar had been imprisoned here long enough to know these halls quite well by now. There was little sense in lingering around in such a place, however, so he continued on his way.
