A whole bunch of absolutes with no borders; even if Yukari couldn't actually perceive these factors as she would naturally, her mind still registered them. Nothing easily manipulable

The hallway was mostly quiet, save for the sound of footsteps along the patient room halls. It was difficult to discern anything in the dark, even with the fontech lights some of the other patients carried.
Turning back to Asch, he asked, "Do you know where we could find the lights the others have?" Even if having them would make it easier to be spotted by any threatening monsters or patients, it would also make it easier for them to spot the threat. Fumbling in the dark wasn't something he would like to do tonight.
As Suzaku entered the new block of rooms, he shone his light at the room number closest to the entrance. M40. Good, M31 should definitely be in the same area. He remembered that the numbers in his own block had gone up as he had gotten closer to the connecting corridor, so he might as well go down this first aisle and see if M31 was further down. If not, he'd just check the next one.
The other patients that passed by went mostly unnoticed, as he focused on remembering the (relatively simple) route to the agreed-upon meeting spot. It was also still possible that no one else at all would show up, but the idea didn't produce any anxiety in him. He had gotten at least one other person to agree, which had been his orders. If it came down to actually physically forcing them to show up...
Well, he would have no problem in doing that, or trying to, but it wasn't what he'd been told to do.
Remembering to cling to the shadows and remain out of sight should he encounter any unwanted guests, Takasugi continued to move along, his mind trying to remember the path he had taken the night before. He knew he had been here before unless the hallways were more similar than he had initially assumed. He tried to look for any discerning features, but there was nothing of note.
He continued on, following his instincts and turning the corner into another hallway.
Kurt didn't want to think about what Kon was doing with that guy, so he decided to pretend it wasn't happening. Besides, he had more important things to deal with. Like getting around the Institute without being seen and possibly scaring anyone. He had his sheet, but still...
Score, the hallway was practically empty! Kurt dashed through on all fours, opening the door to the next hallway.
