"Right, right, good luck," Sanae called after his roommate. He laughed quietly as he turned away toward Godot. He had no idea how long Jiraiya intended to stay at Renamon's but at any rate it was a good opportunity to make small talk and get to know the man he'd picked out as a prospective Partner: 'know thy allies' was just as important as 'know thy enemies'.
"So what'd you do back...well, back home, I guess?" Safe place to start.
Surprisingly, time had been ignored in favor of her current project. And so the Digimon wasn't quite sure how much time had passed while she had copied her notes. There was... much to be learned within, and some things were just strange to think of and stay on. These pages were definitely something to study in the coming days.
Renamon had reclined back on her bed, leaning against the headboard in thought as she glanced over the pages again. When the door opened, her reaction was to blink, the only sign of her surprise. Looking through the crack, she saw two more men behind Jiraiya, and wondered if they were with him. His words told her exactly that. That meant that she didn't have much time of his to waste. She straightened somewhat, running a hand through her hair tiredly. Exactly how much time had passed?
She nodded at Jiraiya, giving him a sardonic, "Good evening," in reply.
While Jiraiya immediately enjoyed the view of Renamon sleepily reclined on her bed, he was a bit sad that she was still fully closed. Not that he expected her to be wearing anything less than normal. A man could still dream, though.
"Hopefully I didn't keep you waiting too long," Jiraiya smiled at her, closing the door behind him and walking towards her bed.
He could also hope that she'd invite him to sit down on her bed, even if nothing "happened" because of it.
Her hand moved to her eyes without her knowledge. "I wouldn't be able to tell you. I've been too wrapped up in this," she said, moving the notebook a fraction.
Invitations weren't likely from Renamon. She was more likely to stand to put them on a level playing field than to invite to sit. As it was, however, she didn't see the point in standing, and so curled her legs beneath her, leaving half the bed open by chance.
She raised her eyebrow at the door, the semi-tired expression that had taken the place of her normal stoicism not leaving her face. "Hopefully, I won't take too much of your time."
"You won't," Jiraiya replied in a reassuring voice, sitting down in the spot her legs had vacated. "They can wait for a bit, since I'm the only able-bodied fighter at the moment."
He smiled at her again, kindly, "Sounds like you've been keeping yourself busy."
Jiraiya was a bit surprised to see Renamon tired, but he didn't immediately overreact to it. Everyone had off days, and Renamon had the habit of keeping herself busy most of the night. A night of rest in her room would be good for her.
"... So," he began again after a slight pause, resisting an urge to place a hand on one of her feet. "You wanted to talk to me?"

Jiraiya smirked over his shoulder at the other two men as they arrived at Renamon's room. "You two wait out here."
He then opened the door, peeking his head in for a moment, "Sorry I'm a little late. Have a couple of companions waiting outside."
The rest of his body followed as he opened the door fully and stepped inside the room.
[OOC: I figure Sanae and Godot can just reply to this message and simply start a separate thread. Will be easier to follow~]
