Day 39: Doctor's Office 3 (Dr. Kisugi) [Second Shift]

Feb 19, 2009 10:18

The files for today's patients were waiting on Makiko's desk when she arrived, left in an untidy-looking heap that drew an irritated frown from the doctor. It was a pity she hadn't yet had the time to deal with the nurses here as she had back in the hospital at home - none of them would have left her office in anything but a pristine state, not if ( Read more... )

"If your childhood pertains to the causes of your mental illness, then yes. It's part of how you get better." The CD switched over to the next song, softly playing some bland piano concerto that she didn't immediately recognize, and Makiko flicked a brief glance toward the player before continuing on with her notes. "Feel free to do so, then," Makiko replied in an indifferent tone, releasing his arm as quickly as she'd previously taken hold of it, giving him a slight shove away from her and allowing him to stand or stumble as he would. No matter what he did would be amusing enough - she'd done what she needed to do, and was ending the session with the upper hand.

Mostly, she added to herself with some irritation, as she lifted her hand to brush at the blood on her upper lip. It had ceased to flow now, but was still a terrible mess. And all the work that would have to be done to put her office back to rights again added to the annoyed expression with which she returned to the door and called for the nurse ( ... )
