It took forever, but Melissa finally made it to that weird statue at the front of the chapel without getting attacked. The mindcaster stopped in front of it, brushing her left hand slowly against the cast on her right. Finally. After days of having to deal with this, she was finally getting it healed. All she had to do was stand on that platform at the base of the fountain. And ignore that instead of water, the fountain had blood in its basin, just like last time ( ... )
