From here.Holding a gun, ammo, a katana, and a kunai wasn't very easy. Especially when walking around a dark area at night. He'd waited for Akihiko to leave because Homura probably would have skinned him alive if his roommate had found out the club was in possession of a gun. And a key

He carefully went to the door andstepped out. Much quieter here at night, and, with one hand on the wall to feel his way, he found that he could get the slightest feeling of the space.
This way then...

"Kio?" Ritsuka stepped out of his room, shutting the door behind him quietly as he looked up at the man and then down the hall. Where was Soubi? Had something happened? Or maybe they were supposed to go it alone. Demyx and Soubi, Kio and Ritsuka. Yeah, that was a brilliant plan - put the two fighters together and leave the pacifists to their own. Ritsuka had gotten the impression that Kio was like him in that he'd never hurt another person or thing, but that wasn't going to help them tonight. "What happened?"

But then Kio spoke up and mentioned his ears and Ritsuka reached up, touching where they used to be. In all the time being here, he'd learned to ignore that they were gone. The sense of loss was always there, but he was getting used to it in a way he hadn't thought possible. Logically, of course, he'd eventually have lost them anyway, but not like he had here. Technically speaking, they were still there, just...not.
"Uh...it's not what you think," Ritsuka said, realizing how lame his words sounded. Still! It wasn't like Soubi had done anything! Or even, that anyone had done anything. Ritsuka was still attacked by those giant birds, meaning he was still a child. "They're still there! Just-- this place does something and you can't see them...or feel them or whatever. But he hasn't done anything - no one

The redhead was going about gathering his stuff for the night when a familiar tingling at the back of his mind. A fellow U.R.T.V. searching the link. It had always tired him out in later years, so he was out of practice, but he could still sense it.
He knew that voice. He knew that voice, but what shocked him more was that it was more nostalgic than he would have expected. Little Nigredo, not the older Gaignun. It couldn't have been Gaignun, even though it was obvious that this place could mess with memories and time; or maybe he was just being selfish and didn't want it to be. Let's play together again sometime, huh? Anywhere but here would have been fine, and he could maybe make up for some past mistakes.

He gave a nod to his roommate and the other person who seemed to be talking just outside, then continued on down the hallway, looking at the numbers on the wall until he came to Kenren's room.

Taking his maps, as usual, he quickly transformed and headed outside, not even bothering to look at his maps. He'd been through this area so many times he had it memorized. The M-A block hallway wasn't too far from here, so he would get there soon.

The only thing that had given him pause was when he opened up his closet to retrieve the lanterns and pick axes, finding his old outfit there. The wool coat, the camouflage pants, and most importantly, the sturdy leather boots that he'd missed. Without preamble, he stripped down and changed into something far more comfortable, grinning as he felt... well, like himself again. No flask in the coat pocket, but he could deal with that.
For now, he just strolled out the door, shouldering those axes and holding on to the lamps as he headed on. If he didn't miss his guess, he knew where he could find his comrades.
